The SCHOOL of CARTOONING and ANIMATION for MISSIONS

We are committed to training students to develop cartoons, comic books, tracts, and animated media in order to communicate the gospel in culturally relevant ways to the least reached peoples of the world.

The School of Cartooning and Animation for Missions (SoCAM) is a twenty-four week, second-level YWAM school, accredited with the University of the Nations (course code: CMC261/262). In many cultures, and especially within those in the 10/40 window, people prefer to receive information through pictures. Cartoons and animation can be powerful tools, particularly in Asia where people line up at stores to buy the latest comic book.

(The next school runs in June 3 - November 19, 2021)
